We are proud and excited to announce that our Chief Financial Officer, Pat Sheridan, has been honored with the prestigious "CFO of the Year" award by the Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG). This accolade was presented at EFCG’s 25th Annual CFO Conference, held in Irving, Texas, from April 9-11, 2025.

Pat Sheridan joined Verdantas at its inception in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his past work with top-tier engineering organizations . Since then, Pat has played a pivotal role in Verdantas' accelerated growth and success. Under his financial leadership, Verdantas has expanded its employee base from approximately 120 in 2020 to nearly1,800 team members in just five years.

Pat's strategic vision and effective financial strategies have driven Verdantas to complete more than 30 strategic acquisitions, significantly enhancing our market presence and capabilities. The firm's revenue has grown from $25 million in 2020 to an estimated $400 million by the end of 20252. His efforts have also led to Verdantas being ranked #113 on the ENR Top 500 Design Firms and #104 on the ENR Top 200 Environmental Firms.

Beyond his financial acumen, Pat has been instrumental in assembling a top-notch finance, legal, and M&A team, ensuring the successful integration of acquired companies. His leadership has contributed to Verdantas being recognized by CS Engineer Magazine as one of the best AEC industry firms to work for in 2023 and receiving the Environmental Business International's Business Achievement Award for mid-major firms in 2024.
