Engineering a Greener Future with Advanced Air Quality and Energy Systems
Verdantas Flow Labs has a long history in testing and enhancing air quality control and ventilation systems. We provide engineering and design solutions to optimize exhaust ducting in fossil-fuel power plants, improve air circulation in clean rooms, and prevent harmful gases from accumulating in occupied spaces. We have the comprehensive tools and resources to support all phases of the system development — from early design to post-construction issue resolution. While our experience spans various industries, the fundamental knowledge we apply remains consistent. We leverage our versatile industry experience to deliver robust and accurate solutions that align with our client goals and timelines.
As we enter an era of energy transformation, our team works to ensure that growing global power demands are met in the most environmentally responsible manner.
Air–Quality Control Optimization and Design
As Pioneers in the design and optimization of flue and exhaust gas ducting and air-quality control systems, our expert engineers specialize in various emission control technologies such as Electrostatic precipitators (ESP), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Baghouses or Fabric Filters (FF), and Wet and Dry Desulfurization Units. This experience ensures that ducting in power plants is optimally routed to enhance the performance of these technologies, effectively managing complex space constraints.
Developing Wet Stack Technology
With a legacy of experience that dates back to the 1970’s, our engineers have developed multiple guides on wet stack design that have been published by EPRI. Additionally, our expertise has enabled us to produce numerous patents for Original Equipment Suppliers, combining their stack lining technology with our liquid film management technology to minimize wet stack liquid discharge.
Application of Fundamental Expertise Heat Recovery Steam Generators
As the US power industry increasingly adopts natural gas combined-cycle units, we have expanded our expertise in Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG). By leveraging our fluid mechanic expertise, we optimize gas flow patterns through these systems, improving their efficiency and reducing emissions.
