Our team completed an existing conditions survey of land owned by the City of Middleburg Heights for the purpose of a new Middleburg Heights Branch Public Library. The project also consisted of providing utility locations of existing utilities with the assistance of a subsurface utility engineering firm.
We provided the necessary field work to accurately define the existing conditions of the new library’s site topography, the location of the survey monuments found in the commission of the survey, a determination of the limits of all public rights-of-way, and the identification of all title lines and lines of possession showing the location of all improvements existing along the boundaries (e.g., buildings, driveways, sidewalks, fences, etc.), the location of all easements and other servitudes existing on the premises, identified flood zones, and zoning information.
We completed the construction layout and computations of the proposed site development. We were responsible for laying out the building footers, curb and sidewalk, storm sewer and detention basin, sanitary sewer, as well as erosion and sedimentation controls.
